Institution Industry Cell

The bridge between the industry, the real world and the institute.

What the cell is for

Finding the gap between what industry needs and what students leave with.

The IIC was established to create an effective industry–institute interface for students. A higher education institution needs continuous interaction with industry to judge what it should be preparing students for, and the cell plans, coordinates and runs the work that follows from that - skill development, in-plant training, internships, industrial visits, student projects and guest lectures.

Objectives
  • 01 Bridge the gap between student academic learning and industry requirements.
  • 02 Enhance student employability and skills.
  • 03 Promote industry exposure and real-time learning.
  • 04 Encourage research, innovation and consultancy.
  • 05 Facilitate students for internships, placements and live projects.
  • 06 Support entrepreneurship and startup culture among students.
