Workshop on Cost Classification

Our college organized a Workshop on Cost Classification on 25th June 2026 to enhance students' understanding of the fundamental concepts of cost accounting. The session was conducted by Dr. G. Sudhakar, Professor & Principal, Omega Institute of Computer Applications and Business Management. The resource person explained the classification of costs based on nature, function, behaviour, and relevance to decision-making through practical examples and interactive discussions.

The workshop enabled students to understand the importance of cost classification in planning, budgeting, and business decision-making. It strengthened their conceptual knowledge, improved their analytical skills, and provided valuable practical exposure to cost accounting principles.
