Overview

B.Com Computer Applications is a three-year, full-time undergraduate program that combines the study of commerce with computer applications. It gives students an integrated knowledge of commerce and computer systems - two fields that increasingly depend on each other.

Students learn accounting, business law, income tax and the other core commerce subjects alongside information technology and programming in C++. As businesses move to digital systems, there is a rising demand for commerce graduates who can also work with computers and software, and this program is built to meet that need.

Graduates find opportunities in both the public and private sectors as business analysts, financial analysts, auditors, business consultants, computer programmers and app developers. The degree also opens the way to higher education such as an M.Com, MBA or MCA, and to professional courses in accounting and finance.
