B.Sc (AIML)
Mathematics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
B.Sc (AIML) is a three-year undergraduate program in Mathematics, Statistics and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. It combines a strong mathematical and statistical foundation with the modern skills needed to build intelligent, data-driven systems.
In Mathematics and Statistics, students study algebra, calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistical inference and data analysis - the core ideas that machine learning is built on. In Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, they learn programming in Python, data handling and visualisation, machine learning algorithms, neural networks and deep learning, and apply them through lab sessions and hands-on projects.
The program develops analytical thinking, problem solving and the ability to turn data into decisions. Graduates are prepared for roles such as data analyst, data scientist, machine learning engineer and AI developer, and for postgraduate study such as an M.Sc in Data Science or AI, an MCA or an MBA, as well as government examinations.
- Build a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, the base of artificial intelligence.
- Develop programming skills in Python and the tools used for data science and machine learning.
- Introduce the concepts and methods of artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning.
- Provide hands-on experience through lab sessions and real-world projects.
- Develop analytical thinking and an understanding of the responsible and ethical use of AI.
